Rare Heirloom Seeds
We are proud to carry Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, which is America’s top source for pure heirloom seeds! Many of our gardeners prefer to not use hybrid seeds and Heirlooms are the perfect answer! Heirloom Seeds are Open Pollinated seeds that have been passed down through the generations for at least 50 years and are still the same. Their ancestry goes back to when pesticides and herbicides were not being used on plants so they tend to be hardier and have better flavor. The owner of Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co. said, “Some varieties even date back to Thomas Jefferson’s garden and beyond”.
Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co. sells only Open-Pollinated, Pure, Natural, and non-GMO seeds. Because they are not hybrids, you can save your seeds and replant them again the following year, as long as you follow guidelines for preventing cross-pollination.
