You can be assured of quality plants when you shop at Wyntour Gardens. We
grow the majority of our plants, here in our own greenhouses, so the plants
are acclimated to our climate. Others are purchased from reputable growers.
We take pride in offering you the best quality of plant stock available
and are always here to answer any questions you may have about growing and
caring for your plants.
Our Plant Guarantee:
We guarantee that our plants leave our nursery healthy and well cared for.
We guarantee that our plants will grow and thrive when planted properly
and provided with reasonable care. We also recognize that we are partners
with you in caring for your new plants. Please call us, right away,
if you have any questions or concerns about the health or vigor of your
plant. Often, we can suggest a corrective measure over the phone to keep
plants healthy and thriving.
If a plant does not survive, contact us and return the plant, along with
the receipt, and if applicable, we will be happy to replace or refund for
store credit your purchase for the period of one year. We must have the
plant (in its original container if possible), to determine the cause of
failure to thrive.
Trees and shrubs purchased at Wyntour Gardens are guaranteed for one
year from the date of purchase. If your plants fail, they will be replaced
once, or a full or partial in-store credit will be issued once, if:
You have a printed receipt
– No replacement or credit will be issued without a printed receipt.
They are purchased at full
retail price. Plants purchased on sale are not eligible for replacement
They fail completely-(plants
that have minor dieback can be salvaged.)
They are planted in a timely
fashion (up to 10 days, must be stored in shade and watered daily prior
They are planted according
to our Planting Guidelines and are watered according to our recommendations
(provided at the checkout counter).
PLANT GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER:
Plants purchased at a discount
of 20% or more.
Plants damaged by insects,
diseases or animals.
Plants that fail to flower.
Plants damaged by conditions
beyond our control such as improper planting, insufficient care, extreme
weather, heat wave, wind, drought, failure to water, putting shade-loving
plants in the full sun, freezing, winter dieback or breakage, stepped on,
mowed, fire or accidents.
Plants that have suffered
in appearance but are capable of recovering with proper care (consult our
Plants that are transplanted.
Plants that have been previously
CUSTOMER REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:
If at any time you have a question regarding a plant purchased at Wyntour
Gardens, please contact us for instructions to remedy the problem. 530-365-2256.
If determined that replacement is required, you must provide us with your
original sales receipt and the plant. (We do not accept credit card receipts
or cancelled checks). Please DO NOT dig up and return plants unless we instruct
you to do so. Thank you!
